Girls 2 Lead is a mentorship and leadership development program for girls ages 5–18, designed to build confidence, strengthen life skills, and help girls grow into strong, purpose-driven leaders.

What is Girls 2 Lead?

Girls 2 Lead is a dynamic leadership and empowerment program created to support girls at every stage of their development.

Through guided mentorship, real-life conversations, and interactive experiences, participants gain the confidence, skills, and mindset needed to navigate life with clarity and purpose.

Our program focuses on building the whole girl—emotionally, socially, and mentally—while creating a safe and supportive environment where she can grow, be heard, and lead.

Ages 7–12

A fun and engaging experience designed to help younger girls build confidence, develop positive self-image, and learn foundational life skills through creativity, group activities, and guided mentorship.

Ages 13–18

A transformative leadership experience for teen girls focused on identity, self-worth, and real-world readiness.

Participants are guided through conversations and activities that prepare them for life beyond the classroom.

Back 2 School Uniform Drive

Helping Children Start the School Year with Confidence

A Woman’s Work Dwelling Place Inc. is proud to host our annual Back 2 School Uniform Drive, providing school uniform assistance to children of underprivileged single mothers throughout Broward County.

We understand that purchasing school uniforms can place an added financial burden on families already working hard to make ends meet. Through the generosity of donors, sponsors, and community supporters, we help ensure that children can begin the school year with confidence, dignity, and a sense of belonging.

Assistance is Limited

Due to limited funding and donated resources, assistance is available through a nomination process and is not guaranteed.
Students must be nominated by a teacher, counselor, church leader, family member, friend, or community supporter.
